JESUS – YOUR TRUEST FRIEND

Yes I know, churches are always advertising, “Join the church.” Always advertising, “Join the fellowship.” They miss the best and most important part of Scripture which is, “Through Christ come and join the family of God.”

You need a friend more than anything else in the world. It was Ben Franklin who once observed: “Your brother may not be your friend, but a friend is always your brother.” In ancient Grecian times a true friend would wear on his garment for the benefit of his friend – SUMMER AND WINTER – meaning, “I am with you YEAR AROUND.”

Henrietta Mears once observed, “Friendship is not knowing all about Christ, it is about knowing Him.” You don’t have to look anymore or be friendless or familyless any longer. Jesus has some powerful, loving good news for you!

John 15:13-14,

“Greater love has no one than this, than one lay down his life for His friends.”

“You are my friends , if you do what I command you.”

“IF YOU LAY DOWN YOUR LIFE FOR CHRIST IN SINCERE FAITH AND OBEDIENCE

TO HIS RIGHTEOUS LAWS, YOU WILL FIND TRUE LOVE FOR LOVE,

AND TRUE FRIENDSHIP FOR FRIENDSHIP, FOR HE HAS

ALREADY LAID DOWN HIS LIFE FOR YOU.”
