Lie Number 3: Fetuses In The Mother’s Womb Are Not Persons – They Are Merely POCs
What is a POC? It is a product of conception. Not a person! Not a human being! Not a baby! Just a product of nature, a PON, which is taking its natural course! That is what pro-choice advocates would have us to believe. NO! You see, a baby is not a “POC,” nor is the baby merely nature taking its course. That leads people to believe that killing a POC in mother’s womb is no more serious than killing a mole in mother earth. It allows the abortionists in their abortatoriums to destroy without madness, to kill without murder, and to cause misery without pity. All of this can hardly be thought of, much less dwelt on without horror.
Recently on CNN, Hilary Clinton shared her viewpoint of babies in the womb. She said that she is a member of the Methodist Church whose position on the issue is that what is in the womb is not officially life, but rather, “Potential Life.” Not just a POC, but also only a PL- Potential Life. I asked recently a minister of the United Methodist Church if he preached against homosexuality and abortion, and he said, “No, the congregation will not let me.”
The homosexual and abortion plagues all around the church are now plagues spreading all through the church. How has it happened? Toleration! Tolerance! These are the bywords of the apostate church in a morally bankrupt tolerant society which is becoming more and more intolerant of Christianity and Christians. Toleration or tolerance has pulled up the floodgates and brought a deluge of wickedness, heresy and blasphemy in the modern church. So many mainline denominations are now preaching a righteousness of their own invention which is nothing but unrighteousness. And we must remember that a nation cannot long stand when its moral cement, the church, is crumbling too.
POC’s? Not for one second. Rather, the baby in the womb from the moment of conception is God’s supernatural working in the womb. It is not about “Nature Taking Its Course!” It is about “God Supernaturally At Work.” We are not first of all dealing with nature, but with the God of nature. This POC falsehood has to be one of the greatest lies ever foisted upon the human race. That lie is a POS, a “Product of Satan” who is a liar from the beginning and the father of lies (John 8:44). Man in his sinful state is an easy target for Satan’s most outrageous deceptions, for as the King James Version reads in Ecclesiastes 7:29, “…God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.”
Setting aside for a moment the critically important and central issue of who or what we are in our mother’s womb, this must be stated at the outset – whatever or whoever we are, we humans or pre-humans are not our own or anyone else’s. We are His! That is the stamp marked upon us in the womb – HIS! GOD’S! It is not a mere “Word Stamp!” It is a “Divine Image Stamp!” Man alone has been created in the image of God. (Genesis 1:27) Man alone is the extension of God’s character. Man alone is God’s image-bearer. That is why we read in Psalm 100:3, “Know that the Lord Himself is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves. We are His people….” Whatever or whoever, the human or pre-human womb dwellers are God’s image-stamped property, and you must be some kind of consummate moron to destroy His image. Would you destroy a Rembrandt? Would you destroy a Godbrandt?
What or who are we looking at here in a mother’s womb? A fetus? A blob? A POC? An It? In the abortionist’s thinking, whatever you call it, at whatever stage along the nine month perilous journey, the fetus does not become fully a human being, a person, until it comes fully out of the mother’s body. Then and then alone does the “It” become a “He” or a “She.” Then and then only do we have a THP – a “True Human Person.” As I explain in my book Is God With America on pages 163-164

The question ringing down through the ages has been, “When does the womb-dweller become a human person?” Some have held to the 30 day theory, some to the 3 month theory, others to the 6 month theory etc. The abortionists hold to the post-natal theory, which is why they commit the atrocity of abortion not only, but the horror of partial birth abortion. All of the above answers as to when babies become fully persons are wrong. Not even warm! Cold as ice, just like the hearts of abortionists who destroy them!
The truth be known, God conceived us in His eternal loving heart and mind long before we were conceived in our mother’s womb. He saw us from all eternity, living out our days, from conception to death, from embryo to old age – fully formed and alive before we were even a thought in our parents’ minds. Pregnancy is a manifestation and unfolding of the human being who is nothing less than a copy of the complete original designed by the mind of the Divine Genius in eternity. The baby in the womb has already lived his or her total life from conception to infancy to adulthood in God’s heart long before the mother’s womb cradled him, long before her arms hugged him, and long before her breasts fed him. Therefore we read in Psalm 139:16, “Thine eyes have seen mine unformed substance; and in Thy book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them.”
Or again we read the words of God in Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Did you notice that He says about Jeremiah, “Before I formed YOU in the womb, I knew YOU?” He does not say, “Before I formed IT in the womb, I knew IT.” God then says, “And before YOU were born I consecrated YOU.” He does not say, “And before IT was born I consecrated IT.” Jeremiah was never ever just an it! Not in God’s mind, not in mother’s womb, not for one eternal moment, not for one temporal second. Jeremiah lived in the mind of God as a person and a prophet eternally before his parents ever knew each other.

If the abortionists would have killed Jeremiah in his mother’s womb, they would have destroyed a person and a prophet. Abortion not only flies into face of the Creator, but what God created your child to be, abortion uncreates. Only God knows what He intended these multiplied millions of aborted babies to be. Preachers! Doctors! Teachers! Inventors! Nurses! Farmers! On and On! Well then, God is the Originator, and the abortionist is the terminator. God is the Life-Giver, and the abortionist is the life-taker. God is the Miracle-worker, and the abortionist is the murderer. In short, abortion is the destruction of a complete human being who was being revealed in mother’s womb from moment one as the copy of Heaven’s original. What God says of the wicked we must say of the abortionist:
