If you talk to mankind in the setting of conducting “Man On The Street” type interviews about the end of the world, you would most likely get a variety of vague, halting comments, and a whole lot of blank if not uneasy looks. It is something they don’t talk about because they don’t want to think about it.

Jesus Christ is up front and very dogmatic about it when He says in Matthew 28:20 to His disciples some unforgettable and final words before He ascends from their midst into Heaven. They are:

“…and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the

END OF THE WORLD.”

The Bible makes the grand finale and the end of the world super-dramatically clear to say the least in II Peter 3:10,

“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the

heavens will pass away with a roar and the  elements

will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth

and its works will be burned up.”

When Jesus spoke of the end of the world, He was not talking about a quiet conclusion. The earth at the end will be so polluted and rotten, that God will burn it to ashes. It will be beyond redoing, and therefore will have a total undoing. He was ultimately talking about a cataclysmic finale, as well as the creation of new heavens and earth, as we read in II Peter 3:13,

“But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens

and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.”

There are three questions that we will be asking and answering in order to address the original question – HOW DOES IT ALL END? They are:

1. Will the earth’s rulers be in control?

2. Will history write the final chapter?

3. Will it all end in a lie?

There are many more, but these it seems to me put it all in proper perspective. So here we go.

WILL EARTHS RULERS BE IN CONTROL?

Before it is all said and done, will the anti-God anti-Christ enemy regimes have the last word and be calling the final shots? There are those times in human history that it seemed indeed that this is how it is going to end.

It must have seemed that way to the Christians of the first century. Roman Emperor Nero was a beast so brutish, that to say he was monster is a gross understatement. He poisoned a man by the name of Britannicus for having a better voice than he did. He murdered his tutor Seneca. He kicked to death his wife who was very pregnant. He killed his mother and ripped her body apart just for the sport of it. He urinated on the statues of the Roman gods.

But more than that, He carried out the first wholesale persecution and murder of Christians. It was the first century holocaust that the world knows little about. This bloody tyrant was so heinous that his own army, the only prop of his tyranny, deserted him, and then the Roman Senate sentenced him to death by whipping.

It must have seemed like the end of the world with the godless rulers in control in World War II, when Winston Churchill said that an “Iron Curtain” had spread across the European Landscape, and 6 million Jews went up in fire and smoke in the furnaces of Hitler. All of Hell’s demons seemed to be running and ravaging and ruling the earth.

Today it seems that way again only on a far more universal basis, as a “Black Cosmic Cloud” of darkest evil and unbelief spreads over the whole earth. There is no doubt about it that aggressive, hostile atheism and agnosticism are increasing worldwide. Why? The unbeliever would say that it is because men are more educated and smarter than the dumb believers of yesterday. No, that is not it at all! Fact:

“MEN ARE ATHEISTS NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE SMARTER

THAN OTHER MEN, BUT BECAUSE THEY HAVE

CORRUPTER WILLS; NOT BECAUSE THEY

REASON BETTER BUT BECAUSE

THEY LIVE WORSE.”

This is after all what it will come down to, for it has always been about God and Satan’s God-defying, God-denying forces.

For instance, Leon Trotsky combated the forces of faith in the USSR. He was a leader of the “Society of the Godless.” Trotsky was a stalwart atheist and a moral relativist. He found his gods in Karl Marx and Charles Darwin. Trotsky exclaimed, “Darwin destroyed the last of my ideological prejudices.” For Trotsky, the facts about the world and the origins of life were established via the “certain system” of the evolutionary theory. He wrote, “The idea of evolution and determinism took possession of me completely. Darwin stood for me like a mighty doorkeeper at the entrance to the temple of the universe. I was intoxicated with his thought.”

Trotsky’s conversion to Darwin was genuine and thorough. Accounts of Trotsky’s life and his atheistic followers are filled with language attesting to their religious faith in Darwin who they adored as a god. (Quoted in Barry Lee Woolley, Adherents of Permanent Revolution: A History of the Fourth (Trotskyist) Revolution International)

The god of Darwinism is likewise worshipped in the American educational system under the tutorship of the National Education Administration (NEA). It is no different now from the schools of godless atheism in communist countries. God the Creator was thrown out of American schools when no one was looking, shamefully including myself. American education and educators now kiss the Origin of the Species the way the reverential person used to kiss the Bible.

We are in America are in fact living through the Bolshevik revolution in the USSR of 1918 when children were encouraged to turn in their parents if they taught them about God. It might well come to that!

The Soviet public school system used gimmicks to indoctrinate young children against religion. A teacher would ask a room of hungry students if they’d like a loaf of bread, then lead the class in prayer for bread. After their prayers the students would wait and wait, but no bread came. They would then pray to the state and its current rulers, and the bread would be walked miraculously into the classroom. (David E. Powell, Rearing the New Soviet Man) This is how the Antichrist will pull off false signs and wonders across the earth.

But the Bible assures us that no matter how bad things are at the end, it will not all end with the enemies of God in control and having the last word. We read these powerful words in I Corinthians 15:24,

“Then comes the end, when He (Christ Jesus) delivers up the

Kingdom to God the Father, when He has abolished all

rule and all authority and power.”

Did you read that carefully? “Abolish” means “To Do Away With Completely” and “To Annihilate.” That simply means that all earthly governments will be wiped away forever by Jesus Christ, never to govern or rule again. Gone forever! No monuments to them left standing! Never to be seen again! Whether Communism or Socialism or Capitalism or Imperialism, all of the earthly ruling ISMS will forever be WASMS!

Why ALL GOVERNMENTS AND RULE ABOLISHED – ANNIHILATED?  An amazing prophecy! Certainly one would think that at least one or two could be left standing as role models for the new heavens and the new earth. Nope! All gone, not a speck or a shred left of any of them. There will be no evidence that they were ever here or ever existed. That is astounding!

It is astounding if we fail to discern what really happens in the world’s rulers and governments. For instance, a true democracy is based on the principles of liberty and justice for all. However, World War II, though it was fought in defense of democracy, over time ended up with fewer true democracies on earth than before the War was started and finished. We don’t have time or space for this, except to say that it is a statistical and international fact.

What  happens? Governments, like the men and women who make up governments, apart from Jesus Christ always deteriorate and de-generate. It is not a matter of if, but only a matter of when. Because of the utter selfishness and power-mad hunger of the sinful human nature, what began as:

“A GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND

FOR THE PEOPLE,”

in time rots into:

“A GOVERNMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT, BY THE GOVERNMENT

AND FOR THE GOVERNMENT.”

In other words:

“A GOVERNMENT THAT STARTS OUT SERVING PEOPLE

DEGENERATES INTO USING PEOPLE, AND ALWAYS

THEREFORE ENDS UP ABUSING PEOPLE.”

As in government, so in religion:

“THERE IS A VAST DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A RELIGION

THAT IS BEING USED BY GOD, AND A RELIGION

THAT USES GOD.”

Hear me:

“A RELIGION THAT USES GOD WILL ALSO END UP

ABUSING GOD AND ABUSING PEOPLE.”

And as it is the case with so many governments and governmental buildings around the globe, so too with the White House and Capitol Hill in Washington D.C., spiritually and morally the paint is peeling and the wood is rotting. What used to be white is now a dirty and dried mustard color. The “W” in Washington D.C. is upside down and now reads “Mashington” as truth and morality and integrity are being mashed to pieces – MASHINGTON D.C.. All of that is soon going to be ABOLISHED. Good riddance!

That is why in the world’s governments, in the end, there will be nothing for Jesus Christ to salvage. All have become terminally and lethally diseased even as is happening to the once democratic United States of America.

There will only and forever gloriously be the Kingdom of God under the Government of the Lord Jesus Christ, as we read in Isaiah 9:7,

“There will be no end to the increase of His government

or of peace.”

For God’s people, an eternal reign of perfect peace under the Prince of Peace. Whatever our feeble concepts of such an awesome Kingdom of Heaven might be, increase it by  infinity and we still won’t come close to the tranquility of it all.

We read in I Corinthians 15:27,

“For He has put all things in subjection under His feet…”

This means that Jesus Christ will smash the Neros and the Hitlers and the Assads under his feet. The Lord Jesus shall squash them like bugs. All those who ruled like beasts because they were in fact beasts themselves shall be crushed.

If you will:

“ALL OF THE EARTH’S BABEL GOVERNMENTS THAT DEFIED

HEAVEN SHALL HAVE THEIR FOUNDATIONS RIPPED

FROM UNDER THEM IN HELL.”

But it means more! Putting heathen rulers and heathen ruling philosophies under His feet means also that:

“IT WILL ALL END WITH THE PROUD AND STUBBORN

MINDS AND REASONS OF THE HEATHEN TOTALLY

SUBMITTED TO AND AGREEING WITH THE KING

OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS.”

Hear me:

“SATAN AND SIN HAVE POISONED THE MINDS AND

REASONS OF THE UNBELIEVING.”

Fact:

“A POISONED REASON AND AN INFECTED JUDGMENT

ALWAYS HAS BEEN CHRIST’S GREATEST ENEMY.”

But it will all end, mind you, with all those who cursed Christ and added blasphemy of mouth to their minds that had been poisoned by sin and unbelief, actually doing the following as we read in Philippians 2:10-11,

“That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of those

in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth,”

“and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God the Father.”

Before the damned are cast into Hell, they will bow their heads before Jesus Christ and confess that He is Lord over all and no one else. What a sight, what a sound, what a scene! There will be Karl Marx and Charles Darwin acknowledging and confessing Him Who they denounced and decried as God and Creator and Lord. There will be Mohammed speaking and confessing the words of the Holy Bible and not the Koran. The Russian communists and the American secularists who declared, “God Is Dead” shall confess, “Jesus Is Alive!”

Listen:

“THOSE WHO BANNED PRAYERS AT THE BEGINNING

OF CLASSROOMS SHALL CONFESS JESUS AS

LORD AT THE BEGINNING OF THEIR

ETERNITY IN HELL.”

Fact:

“THAT IS HOW IT WILL ALL END.”

WILL HISTORY WRITE THE FINAL CHAPTER?

Historians often talk as if history is writing the script. If you will, history is the author who is writing the introduction, the plot, and the conclusion if there is one. As if history is charting its own course. History for many people takes on a personality of its own, or should we say, takes on a multiple personality of its own.

You know, sort of like, “I am music, and I write the song!” So too with history, “I am history, and I write the story!” History worshipers view history like an eternal intelligence and force causing its own beginning, its own course, and its own conclusions.

It is almost the same as the way people talk about and view time. In fact, they not only give a personality to time, but they designate it as a very special type of person. Surely you have all met, “Father Time!” “Father of whom,” I ask? Obviously, father of seconds and minutes and hours and days and weeks and months and years and decades and centuries and millenniums! Man oh man, this father has the most kids of any father I have ever heard of. Not only that, but he keeps on having kids and grandkids and great-grandkids every second, hour, and day of his life.

But time is not a person! Sorry, but “Father Time” like “Mother Nature” are pagan notions. Time is not a person and therefore is not a moral agent, and is neither innocent nor guilty. But we always shove off the praise or the blame on time, like good times and bad times. Or even good days and bad days. But listen:

“PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE BAD DAYS, BUT DAYS DO

HAVE BAD PEOPLE.”

Or again, we say that time changes things. But listen:

“TIME DOES NOT CHANGE THINGS, RATHER, MAN AND

THINGS CHANGE OVER TIME.”

Or again, we say that time will tell. But listen:

“TIME TELLS MAN NOTHING UNLESS MAN DISCERNS

THE TIMES.”

We even blame time when we come up short – there just isn’t enough time in a day. It has always been so handy to either praise or damn time. That way, man doesn’t have to take the responsibility at any time. In fact, so powerful is “Father Time” that, as the saying goes, “You just have to flow with the times.”

Come now, it isn’t what time does to man but it is what man does with and to his time that defines good or bad times. This is why we read in Ephesians 5:16,

“Redeeming the time, for the days are evil.”

If you will:

“IT IS WHAT WE DO WITH TIME THAT EITHER

RENEWS OR RUINS IT.”

And again:

“IT IS IRRATIONAL TO CENSOR TIME, WHEN IN FACT THE

UPGRADING OR DOWNGRADING OF TIME IS ONLY

RESOLVABLE WITHIN OURSELVES.”

Likewise, history is not a person or a moral agent either. We tend to personalize history by giving it powers to repeat itself, correct itself, cycle itself etc., much like Father Time – Mother Nature – World History. You know what I am talking about, such as, history has a way of repeating, correcting, and cycling itself.

But be assured of this, neither Father Time nor Mother Nature nor World History will be judged by God. They will not take the stand before the Almighty Judge and take the praise or blame for one thing, even though mankind will try to shift the guilt to the time and period of history that marked its journey on earth. “Those were bad times,” and “It was a tough time in history,” will not cut it.

Likewise, history is not its own author. If you will:

“HISTORY DID NOT BEGIN THE BOOK, AND HISTORY

DOES NOT WRITE THE BOOK, AND HISTORY

WILL NOT CLOSE THE BOOK.”

As a matter of fact, and get this now, history and history’s characters on history’s stage, to use worn-out imagery, do not ultimately write HISTORY’S STORY. History’s characters did not “begin the book on Jesus” and did not “write the book on Jesus” and did not “close the book” on Jesus Christ at Bethlehem, at Jerusalem, or at Calvary. Truth is, history’s characters kept on trying to “stop the book” or “close the book” on Jesus Christ, but they couldn’t. Why? Because HIS-STORY was not ultimately being written by them at any time.

Write it down and put it in the book. No, you don’t have to because it is already written by the Holy Spirit in the Book:

–Pilate didn’t close the book on Jesus.

–Herod thought that he had closed the history book on Jesus, but he didn’t.

–Caiaphas and Annas tried to close the book on Jesus, but they couldn’t.

–Caesar didn’t close the book on Jesus.

–Neither did Marx, Lenin, Stalin, or Hitler – they couldn’t close the book on Jesus.

–The Liberals haven’t and can’t close the book on Jesus.

–The Atheists, Agnostics, and Secular Humanists haven’t and can’t close the book on Jesus.

–Islam and Allah cannot and will not close the book on Jesus.

Oh indeed:

“THE CRUCIFIXION WAS DARK, BUT GOD HAD A

NEW DAWN FOR JESUS.”

Oh indeed:

“THE CRUCIFIXION WAS UNJUST, BUT GOD HAD A

VINDICATION FOR JESUS.”

Oh indeed:

“THE CRUCIFIXION WAS A TRAGEDY, BUT GOD HAD

A TRIUMPH FOR JESUS.”

Oh indeed:

“THE CRUCIFIXION WAS A SCATTERING, BUT GOD HAD

A GATHERING FOR JESUS.”

Oh indeed:

“THE CRUCIFIXION WAS A CRUEL DEATH, BUT GOD HAD

A GLORIOUS RESURRECTION FOR JESUS.”

Take note:

“HIS-STORY WAS AND IS NOT BEING WRITTEN BY

HISTORY, NOR BY HISTORY’S CHARACTERS,

NOR BY HISTORIANS.”

Jesus was born and lived and died and rose from the dead and is alive forevermore! Why:

“BECAUSE THE FIRST WORD AND THE CONTINUING WORD AND

THE FINAL WORD ARE NEVER IN THE MOUTH OF MAN, BUT

THE EVERY WORD IS ALWAYS IN THE MOUTH OF GOD.”

Eternal fact:

“HIS-STORY IS BEING WRITTEN BY JESUS HIMSELF –

THE ETERNAL WORD – FOR HE IS THE DIVINE AND

ETERNAL AUTHOR OF HIS OWN NEVER-TO-BE

FINISHED AUTOBIOGRAPHY.”

When Jesus Christ on the cross said in John 19:30,

“It is finished,”

history’s devil-inspired characters thought that they had written the “last chapter” and “closed the book” on Jesus Christ. They couldn’t because:

“NOTHING AND NO ONE IS EVER GOING TO CLOSE

THE BOOK ON JESUS, BUT HE IS THE ONE WHO

WILL CLOSE THE BOOK ON TIME, HISTORY,

AND THE WORLD.”

That is why we read in Revelation 10:6 KJV,

“And sware by Him that liveth forever and ever, Who created

the heaven and the things that therein are, and the earth

and the things that therein are, and the sea and the

things that are therein, that there shall

be no more time.”

Jesus did not punch time and history’s clock, but time and history punched Jesus’ clock. Jesus began time’s clock, and Jesus shall end time’s clock. Jesus began world history, and He shall write the last chapter, line, and word in the world’s history book. That is how it will all end.

We read Jesus Christ saying about Himself in Revelation 21:13,

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last,

the beginning and the end.”

Listen:

“JESUS BEGAN TIME AND HISTORY, AND ONE DAY JESUS

WILL END TIME AND HISTORY, AND WILL FOLD

THEM UP LIKE GARMENTS AND PUT THEM

AWAY FOREVER AND EVER.”

But until He TICKS THE LAST TOCK, the purposes of God will ripen faster and faster and hotter and hotter through the halls of time and history. They will get brighter and brighter until that eternal timeless day in glory, when for the saints in heaven the face of Jesus will shine brighter than the noonday sun.

No one holds the books of history, no one but Jesus. Denominations do not hold the book on church history. People do not hold the books on their lives. Families do not hold the books on their family trees. Jesus Christ holds all of the books in His hands, and all the books are open and not closed until He closes them. That is how everything and every book ends! Why? Because we read in Psalm 31:15,

“MY TIMES ARE IN HIS HANDS….”

So are yours! Whether Eastern Standard Time, Central Time, Mountain Time, or Pacific Time, our times are in His hands.

WILL IT ALL END IN A LIE?

That’s what it all comes down to, now doesn’t it? Will He Who calls Himself THE TRUTH make good on His word? Or will those who call it all a lie triumph in the end over the liar, the lied to, and the duped? How will it all end – in glorious truth or in the most inglorious lie that was every told? Who will the fools be when it is all said and done?

Of course, that is what the unbelievers are counting on – that it is all a big hoax. What do they say when they hear a Christian testify that Christ is coming to take His own to Heaven, and to judge the world and every man that ever lived in it? What do they say when they see a highway billboard with the words. “PREPARE TO MEET THY GOD?” When they hear and see such words, they try to avoid them and take the backbone out of Christianity with the following in II Peter 3:4,

“Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers

fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the

beginning of creation.”

In other words, “Hey Christians, SAME-O – SAME-O, nothing really has changed, so why don’t you just get over it? What a drag! Hey, come on, just get on with your pension plans for the rest of your life and live while the livin’ is good. You only go around once! You might just as well eat crow now. It was all a lie to begin with, and it is all going to end for you in that same big, fat lie. Give it up and get over this nonsense.” Of course they say that, because it gets them off the hook, so they think.

The disciples thought it was a lie also – oh yes they did!. The one who was honest enough to express it was the fella we call “Doubting Thomas.” He too thought that it all ended in a lie! It has always been the struggle between belief and unbelief, even in the lives of believers.

Think about it! It was over!!! The permanent ‘finis’ had been written to Jesus’ life. They were in fear and disillusionment and went into hiding in a remote part of Jerusalem. The case was closed and nothing and no one would make them reopen it. Apparently, Pilate was not the only one who had washed his hands of the whole bloody business. No hallucinating women or garden ghosts would convince them that it was not a lie. Jesus had died like a lamb, and He would have to return like a roaring lion.

So He did! So he will! He had to frighten them into faith in a setting that they could not escape. Where did we get the idea that Jesus’ spirit came back to massage old memories in the Upper Room? They were not exactly singing “He’s alive, He’s alive, and I’m forgiven, Heaven’s gates are opened wide.” So there He came though closed doors. He took them by storm. He charged the room like a conquering hero. He ordered, “Give Me something to eat. Give me a place to sit down. Why are you standing there? Touch Me and see; no ghost has flesh and bones as you can see that I have?”

Has He come back? Is He the TRUTH? Of course, because:

“NOTHING THAT TRUTH SAYS OR DOES CAN

EVER END IN A LIE.”

Then they saw the resurrected Christ when He made and served breakfast for them on the beach – a sunrise breakfast. They saw the resurrected Christ ascend off the mountain up into Heaven, but not before they heard two angels in human form say to them in Acts 1:10,

“This Jesus Who has been taken up from you into Heaven,

will come in just the same way as you have

watched Him go into Heaven.”

This was not “Pie In The Sky” but it was “Jesus In The Sky” Who will come back down some day very soon in the sky exactly as he went up. One awesome day very soon:

“TRUTH IS GOING TO SPLIT THE SKY AND MOCK

EVERY LIAR AND EVERY LIE EVER TOLD.”

You realize don’t you that the Gospel writers Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John all wrote their gospels at different times and places away from each other? They didn’t have the internet with e-books so that they could read each other’s best sellers. There is no way on earth that they could have all written the exact same accounts of the life and death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which they did, if they had fabricated the whole business on their own and lied in perfect harmony. Not going to happen!

It reminds me of the story of the four high school boys who decided one beautiful spring day that they would cut classes. So after messing around for several hours, they then came back to school and said to the teacher, “We missed classes because the tire went flat on the car.” At first they were a little nervous, so the teacher said to them, “Okay, no problem, however, you did miss a test, so I’d like you to sit down in 4 different places of the room apart from each other so that you can make up the quiz.”

The boys went and sat down as each of them looked a little uneasy. The teacher assured them that it would be a very simple test. They sat down with pencil and paper on their desk, and then she said, “This will be an oral test, and the first question is, ‘Which tire on the car went flat?’ Please write down your answers and do not look at each other.” Smart teacher, hey?

Jesus knew all through His earthly ministry that it would not be long before they would see Him crucified, killed, laid in a grave under all the weaknesses, sufferings, and mortality that human nature could undergo. So He promised them that they would never be alone, as He pledged to them the coming of the blessed and powerful Holy Spirit to be with them and in them. We remember His promise as they did in John 16:7 and 13,

“It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not

go away, the Helper shall not come to you; but

if I go, I will send Him to you.”

“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide

you into all truth….”

When the Holy Spirit made His grand entrance, every tongue of fire that sat upon the disciples on the Day of Pentecost was a fiery tongue that spoke the truth about Jesus’ resurrection and ascension. Surely:

“THERE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE GIFT OF THE HOLY

SPIRIT FROM ABOVE, IF THE GIVER OF THAT

GIFT WAS STILL UNDER THE GROUND.”

Let the tongues of fire burn into our hearts that God always has the last word, and that the fire of truth will always triumph over untruth.

Not only will  truth eternally triumph over falsehood, but truth will expose every lie by the Divine X-ray of Truth. We read in Luke 8:17,

“For nothing is hidden that shall not become evident, nor

anything secret that shall not be known and

come to light.”

Lying politicians and statesmen go all the way back to Plato. Why Plato? Because this cornball philosopher taught that it should be lawful for statesmen and governors to lie when time and place demand it. So did Cicero and Plutarch who considered lying an art and perfection of the wisest of men.

But be assured, that every liar and lie shall be uncovered and hellishly punished. Every fake immigration paper, every bogus birth certificate, every tampered-with voting ballot will be exposed and burned up in Hell forever.

Every closet shall have all of it skeletons put on display, and every crammed attic will have all of its emotional and shameful furniture showcased in brilliant light. No place to hide and nothing shall be hid. Parents better teach their children to be worried about more than sugar overload when in fact they are lying and cheating on their exams.

We read in Psalm 101:7 the Lord saying,

“He who speaks falsehood shall not maintain his

position before Me.”

Hear this:

“WHEN POLITICIANS LIE IN THE NAME OF THEIR GOVERNMENT,

THEIR GOVERNMENT IS THEN A LIE

AND WITHOUT GOD.”

Even as:

“WHEN PREACHERS LIE IN THE NAME OF THEIR RELIGION,

THEIR RELIGION IS THEN A LIE

AND WITHOUT GOD.”

It will all end in TRUTH’S ULTIMATE VICTORY OVER THE DEVIL’S LIES. Truth simply will not wait forever for its ultimate conquering of all lies, and TRUTH’S NAME IS JESUS CHRIST. Truth will once and for all pass judgment on every untruth that was ever told, and He shall throw the liars and their lies into Hell and burn away all the lying verbiage forever. We read in Revelation 21:8,

“…all liars will have their part in the lake of fire which

burns with fire and brimstone, which is the

second death.”

And there will be no water coolers to slake the burning thirst of lying lips. The old accusation will be able to be stated literally, “Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire.”

Hear this:

“THAT IS HOW IT WILL ALL END WITH JESUS THE

TRUTH ALONE REIGNING IN TRUTH FOREVER,

FOR HIS WORD OF TRUTH WILL

NEVER PASS AWAY.”

CONCLUSION

This is how it will all end, as we read in II Thessalonians 1:7-10,

“…when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with

His mighty angels in flaming fire,”

“dealing out retribution to those who do not know God, and to

those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.”

“And these will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from

the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,”

“when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day, and to

be marveled at among all who have believed – for our

testimony to you was believed.”

That is how it will all end! The holy angels in flaming fire – HEAVENS FLAME-THROWERS. The sinners in eternal misery and the saints in eternal marvel marveling at Jesus Christ Who is the MARVEL OF ETERNITY. We haven’t seen anything yet!!! Satan makes Hell miserable, and Jesus makes Heaven marvelous.

When the Lord says, “This shall be – on that day,” He sees it and that day as already present before it ever comes to pass. God does not make things up as He goes along or as new emergencies surface. Hear it:

“WHATEVER GOD DECREES FROM ETERNITY MUST

COME TO PASS IN TIME, AND WHATEVER HE

BRINGS TO PASS IN TIME HE DECREED

FROM ALL ETERNITY.”

So then when we say, “THIS IS HOW IT WILL ALL END FOR SINNERS,” that’s the way it will be forever. And when we say, “THIS IS THE WAY IT WILL END FOR SAINTS,” that’s the way it will be forever. How does it all end? Now you know the rest of the story! Amen!
