The late D. James Kennedy preached these words in a sermon entitled A Godly Education, “John Dewey was the first president of the American Humanist Association and a signer of the first ‘Humanist Manifesto.’ He felt that Christianity was the principle problem that needed to be solved by our public educational system.”

“Dewey’s mentor and predecessor in the battle against Godly Education, Horace Mann, is regarded as the father of public education in America. Mann saw that education in early America was in the hands of the Christian Church, and he viewed that as absolutely deplorable. His solution was education operated and controlled by the state, which would effectively deliver children from the Christian religion.”

Well now, Dewey’s problem has been solved, and Mann’s solution has been implemented in the now American Pagan Public Educational System and the widely adopted COMMON CORE CURRICULUM. It is a curriculum that totally distorts America’s Christian roots, and militates against Biblical  moral absolutes. It is rotten to the CORE!

AS A MATTER OF FACT

We must face some awful facts about the human race and each man born into it. But before that, like it or not, popular or unpopular, FACTS are FACTS. As I have heard many times in my life people say:

“FACTS ARE SUCH STUBBORN THINGS.”

And again:

“OH, YOU AND YOUR DUMB FACTS.”

One more time:

“THE BEST LAID PLANS OF MEN ARE SO OFTEN BEAT UP BY A

GANG OF UGLY FACTS.”

As a matter of FACT, the ever present reality of facts has divided the human race into Factions. That is where FACTions come from you know – FACTS. Ultimately it always comes down to FACTS when there are FACTions – those who agree with the FACTS and those who disagree with the FACTS.

Come now, if you listen to the harangues and insults being spewed out on the floors of the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate, they are nothing more or less in many cases than the opposing spirits of FACTIOUS men and women who have totally antithetical views on what is FACT and what is not FACT.

Moreover, this is where FACTions come into the church. FACTions are Satan’s masterpieces and the prime engines to overthrow the church by. And behind it all are the FACTS and Satan’s getting people to disagree on the FACTS of the Word of God. Satan is a most crafty devil in turning FACTS into FICTION, and FICTION into FACTS. Hence FACTIONS, which are by no means FICTION.

In Galatians 5:20 the Holy Spirits warns us against such things in the Body of Christ as:

“…enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions….”

The factions that are stated here come into the church when:

“CHURCH PEOPLE EQUATE THEIR SUBJECTIVE PREFERENCES

WITH OBJECTIVE TRUTH.”

These are always tragic FACTions and they are totally illegitimate. The length of the pastor’s beard and the color of the sanctuary carpet are personal likes and dislikes, and have nothing to do with truth or untruth, morality or immorality. And yet I have seen these very issues and more divide churches into warring FACTions. This is what the Holy Spirit is writing against through the Apostle Paul.

However, when basic truth and morality are at stake, disagreement about them should cause FACTions. For instance, when there are those in ecclesiastical leadership who lump Protestants and Mormons all in the same Christian category, factions over such issues are good and necessary.

If Mormons are Christians, then Christians are Mormons. Hear it:

“WHEN FICTION IS BEING PRESENTED AS FACT, THEN IT IS ABSOLUTELY

GOOD AND NECESSARY THAT FACTIONS ARISE.”

Or again:

“WHEN FACT IS BEING PRESENTED AS FICTION, THEN IT IS ABSOLUTELY

GOOD AND NECESSARY THAT FACTIONS ARISE.”

Why?:

“BECAUSE WITHOUT FACTIONS, IN BOTH CASES, FICTION WILL RULE

THE DAY AS FACT.”

THE STATE OF UNIVERSAL MAN

Let’s begin this now with a gang of ugly FACTS. We read about all men in Ephesians 2:1-2,

“And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,”

“in which you formerly walked according to the course

of this world, according to the prince of the power of

the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons

of disobedience.”

First of all:

“WHEN YOU ARE DEAD IN SIN, WHICH ALL MEN ARE BY BIRTH, YOU ARE

THEN DEADLY TO YOURSELF AND TO ALL THOSE

THAT ARE AROUND YOU.”

Second:

“WHEN YOU WALK ACCORDING TO THE WORLD AROUND YOU, WHICH ALL

MEN DO BY NATURE, YOU ARE TOTALLY WORLDLY AND NOT AT ALL

HEAVENLY OR GODLY.”

Third:

“WHEN YOU LIVE AND WALK OUT YOUR LIFE IN LOCKSTEP WITH SATAN WHO

IS THE PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR, YOU ARE

THEN TOTALLY DEVILISH.”

FOURTH:

“WHEN YOU ARE ENERGIZED BY SATAN THE EVIL SPIRIT, AND NOT BY THE HOLY

SPIRIT, YOU WILL WALK WITH THE REST OF HUMANITY IN COMPLETE

DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD AND IN TOTAL OBEDIENCE TO SATAN.”

There are the FACTS about every man born into the world. And only Jesus Christ crucified and risen again can change man’s spiritual and moral death into life, his worldliness into Heavenliness, his devilishness into angelness, and his disobedience into obedience.

Thus we read in II Corinthians 5:17,

“Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature, the old things

passed away; behold, new things have come.”

Back to the gang of ugly facts which we must understand! Every man is born into the world not just with a taint or touch of sin in him. Rather, each and every human being is born into the world with a total propensity toward and total predominance of sin in him. Get this:

“EACH AND EVERY HUMAN BEING COMES INTO THE WORLD WITH SUCH A

ROTTEN NATURE, THAT HE IS CAPABLE OF COMMITTING EVERY

SIN KNOWN TO MAN.”

If you will:

“BY NATURE, WE ALL ARE POTENTIAL RAPISTS, MURDERERS, ADULTERERS,

ROBBERS, FORNICATORS, ABORTIONISTS, HOMOSEXUALS, LESBIANS,

BISEXUALS, ASSASSINS, LIARS, ETC. ETC. ETC.”

What is more, this means that each man by nature is the most fruitful soil on earth for Satan to plant his evil seeds in. In other words:

“FOR SATAN TO PRESENT SINFUL OPPORTUNITIES TO MAN (TEMPTATIONS),

IS LIKE THROWING HUGE PIECES OF JUICY MEAT INTO A DEN OF LIONS.”

And mind you:

“SATAN HIMSELF IS THE PRODUCER, DIRECTOR, AND RINGMASTER OF THIS

UNIVERSAL HUMAN TRAGEDY.”

That is why:

“WATCHING THE HUMAN RACE LIVE OUT ITS LIFE ON PLANET EARTH IS LIKE

WATCHING PROFESSIONAL WRESTLERS DO THEIR THING ON A

KITCHEN TABLE, ALL DAY, EVERY DAY.”

GODLY EDUCATION

Now then, follow along for we are indeed going somewhere with this. In FACT we have now arrived at where we began.

There was a time in America, in fact from its very inception, that God, His Word, His Laws, His Son, His Presence, and His Prayers, were taught, practiced and upheld in America’s Public Schools. That was the very thing that infuriated Horace Mann and John Dewey, and incensed the Devil whom they served.

With God and His Son honored and even worshipped in public schools, as my wife remembers prayers offered and hymns sung to the Creator-Redeemer in her rural public grade school, something hugely powerful was happening in public education that is totally missing now.

What was that? By welcoming, honoring, and even teaching God and His laws to the youth of America:

“THE HOLY SPIRIT RESTRAINED THE OUTRAGEOUS AND VICIOUS SIN PRINCIPLE

IN YOUNG HUMANS, AND KEPT THAT VILE SIN PRINCIPLE FROM

ERUPTING UNRESTRAINED.”

If you will:

“THROUGH GODLY EDUCATION IN AMERICA, THE SIN PRINCIPLE IN MAN WAS

MORE CONTROLLED, EVEN THOUGH HE HIMSELF MAY NOT

HAVE BEEN CONVERTED.”

That is to say:

“THROUGH GODLY PUBLIC SCHOOL EDUCATION, MAN’S SINFUL IMPULSES

WERE RESTRAINED, EVEN THOUGH HE HIMSELF WAS NOT RENEWED.”

Or more to the point:

“THROUGH GOD-BASED/BIBLE-BASED PUBLIC EDUCATION, THE RAGING LION OF

SIN IN MAN WAS TO A SIGNIFICANT EXTENT CAGED, EVEN THOUGH THE SIN

LUST OF HIS NATURE WAS NOT CHANGED.”

Now with God and His Word outlawed in America’s public education, we have come to the exact and horrible opposite in society, and that is:

“STIFLED GODLINESS AND UNRESTRAINED GODLESSNESS.”

If you will:

“WE ARE LIVING IN A SOCIETY WITHOUT RESTRAINTS, AND IN

CITIES WITHOUT WALLS.”

This is why, for crying out loud, the great and only wise God tells us in Ecclesiastes 12:1,

“REMEMBER YOUR CREATOR IN THE DAYS OF YOUR YOUTH, BEFORE THE

EVIL DAYS COME AND THE YEARS DRAW NEAR WHEN YOU WILL SAY,

‘I HAVE NO DELIGHT IN THEM.’”

-It does not say, “Remember your ape ancestors.”

-It does not say, “Remember your evolutionary-monkey roots.”

-It does say, “Remember your Creator when you are young.”

-First impressions make all the spiritual and moral difference in the world.

-Never before has the need of solid, Bible-based Christian Education and Home Schooling been greater in America than now.

Or again, Proverbs 22:6,

“Train up a child in the way that he should go. Even when he is old,

he will not depart from it.”

-That is a promise from God Himself, Who cannot lie, for our children.

-However, the promise is conditional. America has not honored the condition, and our Society and American youth are in the worst condition they have ever been in.

In short:

“IN AMERICA, THE GODLY BOUNDARIES OF VIRTUE AND CIVILITY ONCE TAUGHT

IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, HAVE BEEN FOR SOME TIME NOW TOTALLY REMOVED

AND BANNED, AND REPLACED BY UNRESTRICTED PAGANISM.”

And why? Because:

“NOT BEING CONTAINED AND CONTROLLED BY EARLY RIGHTEOUS PREVENTIONS,

THEY NOW BREAK FORTH PUBLICLY AND PRIVATELY INTO THE MOST

OBSCENE PRACTICES.”

EXAMPLE:

In our travels in evangelistic work across America, we arrived in early fall in Ewing, Nebraska for a week of services which were to be held in the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church where Wayne Smith is still the pastor. A great church and a great pastor indeed!

I will never forget asking the pastor for some facility for repentant-believers baptism by immersion, which facility at the time did not exist there. I came to church Sunday morning only to find that the pastor had gotten into the church a large, circular watering pool for cattle. It was several feet deep, very large, and filled with water at ground temperature.

God blessed us with many new converts to Christ that week, each of whom were then baptized, along with other believers who had never been baptized by immersion. And let me tell you, when they were, the temperature of the water woke them up big time.

But on the Friday night we arrived there before the crusade began on Sunday, my dear wife and I went to a nearby high school football contest between Ewing High School and another neighboring high school several sand-hill miles away. We wanted to get to where the people were and invite them and their children to the special services. It was amazing, as adults, children, and teens poured into that little football stadium by the hundreds from those seemingly uninhabited sand hills – standing room only which was by now four deep around the football field. Amazing!

And as we watched from a small set of packed bleachers, we saw teens with their boyfriends and girlfriends smoking, vigorously making out in the standing crowd, and rubbing each other’s tight-jeaned rear ends without feeling the least bit out of place. Even putting their hands inside each other’s jeans as far as they could get! Mind you, this was in public. One needs no imagination about what they do in private. After a while we watched some of these teen couples leave the game early, not because the game was boring, but because they now were worked up for some other kind of action.

We met a teacher in the stands, and commented on the amount of teens at the game, and their very outward show of affection. “Oh yes,” she said, “this is how it is every day in the school hallways, and what you see here is nothing compared to what really goes on.”

Our government, our courts, our media, and our curriculum’s are now the purveyors of free and unfettered sex for our youth. You cannot watch TV shows without seeing this filth being perpetrated upon young minds. We have gone down a long, long ways from the days of Lassie, Mr. Ed, and Andy of Mayberry.

AMERICA’S BABEL GOVERNMENT

I have been struck as have many by what is going on in the halls of the United States Congress. It is like listening to the DIALOGUE OF THE DEAF. They have ceased to communicate, and now they only shout and attack. They cannot hear what the other person says, but only what they say in their totally disconnected response. They hear sounds, but they cannot listen to each other’s words. It is an ongoing exercise in futility.

I guess an apt analogy to the United States Government would be the ancient TOWER OF BABEL. The Babel builders couldn’t understand each other either. The very name of BABEL means CONFUSION. We recall the words of Genesis 11:9,

“Therefore its name was called BABEL, because there the Lord CONFUSED

the language of the whole earth….”

Much like Babel, the United States Government is now being built by the great architect of chaos and confusion – the devil himself. A government, a Babel, which seeks to dethrone God in Heaven, and a government, a Babel, whose foundations have been laid in hell!

Neither the old nor this new Babel were built in a day. The construction of the American Babel Government began in the latter half of the 20th century, with Satan the master-builder sometimes working in the light, but mostly working in the dark. Sometimes above ground, but mostly under it!

How did we arrive at this BABEL IMPASSE? We have already answered that question in the very title of this teaching:

“GODLINESS STIFLED – GODLESSNESS UNRESTRAINED.”

With now the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of government all instruments of darkness seeking to chase away the light before them, the government is at a stalemate between opposing forces, and has all it can handle simply to keep its doors open.

How does the Bible describe the BABEL IMPASSE? We read the exact description of it in II Corinthians 6:14-15,

“Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what

partnership have righteousness and lawlessness; or

what fellowship has light with darkness?”

“Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a

believer in common with an unbeliever?”

The answer in each case is absolutely NO-THNG! It strikes me here that the disharmony between light and darkness, and between a believer and an unbeliever, are all on the same level with the total dysfunction and disharmony between Christ and Belial. Belial is just another name for DEVIL or DEMON or DIABLO. You talk about BABEL- GOVERNMENTAL IMPASSE IN THE EXTREME!

It makes no difference what is brought up in these now unhallowed halls of government:

-Whether it be the sanctity of life and the evil of abortion!

-Whether it be the rightness of heterosexuality and the wrongness of homosexuality!

-Whether it be the godliness of heterosexual marriage and the ungodliness of gay marriage!

-Whether it be rightness of the male and female sexes, and the wrongness of bisexuality and trans-sexuality! IMPASSE!!!

-But the IMPASSE is tilting Hell’s way, as now in Massachusetts, you are now no longer allowed to be foster or adoptive parents if you don’t go along with the gay agenda.

-Now in California, the pagans are trying to get a law passed that if a boy in school feels like and thinks of himself as girl, he will be allowed to used the girls bathroom where this he/she feels more at home. 

-You think that is bad! Colorado is way ahead of California in debauchery. Coy Mathis is a third grader  at Eagleside Elementary School in Fountain, Colorado. Though born fully male, Coy has spent the majority of the past year dressing and identifying as a female. As per his parent’s request, he has been allowed to wear girl’s clothing to school and is referred to as a girl. In June, despite legal protest, the Colorado Rights Division ruled that young Coy is now allowed to use the girl’s bathrooms.

What is happening across the American Government scene, is that more and more evil politicians are being elected who then in turn darken government and fiercely defend their realms of darkness.

And Satan, who is the architect of this BABEL GOVERNMENT, has schematically topped it all off with a leader in the White House who is his most fit and qualified instrument for the advancement of depraved human reason above Divine Revelation.

And so it is that Satan’s president devotes an entire week of every year to honor perverts for their contributions to society. And just the other day, he held in the White House a banquet to toast the great virtues of the bisexual community. Indeed:

“STIFLED GODLINESS AND UNRESTRAINED UNGODLINESS IN AMERICA’S HOUSE

WHICH HAS BECOME THE DEVIL’S DARK HOUSE!”

CONCLUSION

We read about Abel’s murderous brother Cain in Genesis 4:17,

“And Cain had relations with his wife and she conceived,

and gave birth to Enoch; and built a city, and called

the name of the city Enoch, after

the name of his son.”

Cain is the only person I have ever read about who sought to ease his discontent by building a city. Knowing what we do about him, the only reason that he built a city was because there was none other for him to pull down and destroy first.

Satan’s president must first pull down and destroy free, Bible-based, capitalistic America before he can in her place build his own evil Marxist/Moslem Empire. One of Satan’s names in the Bible is APOLLYON which means DESTROYER. It is Apollyon that Barack Obama serves, and so he must destroy Judeo/Christian America before he builds his evil empire. It is Apollyon’s chief M.O. If you will:

“THAT WHICH HE INITIALLY WON BY DECEPTION AND DELUSION, HE IS

NOW DESTROYING BY FORCE OF EXECUTIVE ORDER.

THIS IS APOLLYON’S RITE OF PASSAGE.”

Senator Ted Cruz of Texas stood and spoke for 21 hours on the floor of Senate this past week, as he attacked the evils of Obamahell. We must stand up vocally for righteousness 24 hours of every day lest Satan’s president be allowed to wreck spiritual and moral ruin and desolation upon this entire nation.

I close with the words of Ephesians 6:13-14,

“Therefore, take up the full amour of God, that you may be able to resist in the

evil day, and having done everything, to stand.”

“Stand firm therefore….” Amen!
