Obama – America Not a Christian Nation
The plot thickens. President Barach Obama recently spoke these words to the Parliament of Turkey. Obama is not only attempting to rewrite the history of America. Obama is hell bent on remaking America in his own Marxist/Muslim image. Here is what he said, and his words are not only a complete distortion of the truth, but the very goal of his imposter-presidency:
“WE DO NOT CONSIDER OURSELVES A CHRISTIAN
NATION OR A JEWISH NATION OR A MUSLIM
NATION. WE CONSIDER OUR SELVES A
NATION OF CITIZENS WHO ARE
BOUND BY IDEALS AND A SET
OF VALUES.”
Of course we do not consider ourselves to be a Muslim Nation. We never did. That is like Cuba or China saying they don’t consider themselves to be democracies. Big discovery! Thank you Barack for that great and informative lesson on national identities and comparative religions. You talk about having a gift for the obvious! But that is not what Obama was really trying to say to the Turkish Parliamentarians. Not at all!
Nor did America ever consider herself to be a Jewish Nation. Nor do the Jews in America for that matter consider New York City to be a second “Jerusalem” or America to be a substitute “Promise Land.” There is only one Jerusalem and one Israel, and America is not it. Every Jew knows that! Every civilized nation knows that. The Jewish and Muslim comments were just see-through cushions for Christians in America who he knew would be more than a little ruffled by his words.
So what are we really left with, and what was Obama actually saying? Very simply, this was the primary intent of his words when we peel off all of the other deflective verbiage and blow away the smokescreen:
“AMERICA IS NOT A CHRISTIAN NATION.”
Slam! That is what he was saying, because that indeed is what he wants and what his intentions are for this nation – a Non-Christian America. If you will an Un-Christian America, like Un-Cola – cola with all of the fizz out of it which is not Cola at all.

HE WHO IS NOT WITH ME IS AGAINST ME
However, with Jesus Christ there is no Non-Christian or Un-Christian. There is only Pro-Christian or Anti-Christian. You can junk all of the Non and Un stuff. Either you are for Jesus Christ or you are against Jesus Christ. Jesus said in Matthew 12:30,
“He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who
does not gather with Me scatters.”
We are either pro-Christ or anti-Christ. What we have elected to the White House is the spirit of anti-Christ. I am reminded of the words of I John 2:18,
“Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard
that anti-Christ is coming, even now many
anti-Christs have arisen; from this we
know that it it is the last hour.”
Well then, who is Obama with, and with what and whom does he identify himself? He confesses himself to be a Christian (see my teaching on President Obama’s Religion). He is not a Christian by any Biblical definition or standard whatsoever. His confession of Christianity on Rick Warren’s interview of himself and John McCain was even for many Christians a magic moment. But as it is with all magic, it isn’t reality.
Now the magic moments of his campaign are showing themselves for what they really were – carefully crafted and disguised propaganda to garner faith-based voters. He is a product of Jeremiah Wright’s militant anti-Americanism with the name of Jesus tagged on to it. Of course, the KKK also identifies with Jesus Christ to sanctify their hatred and violence.
Where then are Obama’s roots and with what and whom does he really stand? He told the Turkish Parliamentarians when referring to their Muslim heritage,
“I AM ONE OF THEM.”
Many times what we don’t say is just as important if not more significant that what we do say. He did not state about his fellow American’s to the Turks:
“I AM ONE OF THEM.”
On that same trip while he called America arrogant, divisive and derisive, he identified with Islamic nations while castigating his own nation. At the least he should not have degraded America on foreign soil and talked behind her back. He should have had the guts on home soil to speak to America face to face and let her respond to him. These were cheap shots of betrayal to those who in most instances hate America, and he justified and gave fuel to their anti-American fire. If he does this behind our backs in public view, what will he do to us in private?
We are not even sure where Obama was born. It has never been factually verified. Some feel he was born in Kenya and not in Hawaii as he claims. As best we can tell, He was born a Muslim to a non-practicing Muslim father and from a practicing Muslim grandfather on his dad’s side. His father’s name was Barach Hussein Obama Sr. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
“THE UNCHRISTIANIZING OF THE WEST.”
Where and when nothing any longer is Christ-centered, and nothing is sacred and everything is up for grabs. Where Christian voices are more and more muffled and then finally extinguished by “Hate Crime Legislation.”

AN INFAMOUS MOMENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY
It is in the air everywhere, and Christians cannot hide from the harsh reality that sends cold shivers down their spines. The president of the United States of America, standing before the leaders of an Islamic nation with their false god Allah, and defying Jesus Christ the King of kings and the Lord of lords for all the world to see and hear. Telling the Lord of all the earth and of all nations that America is not identified with Him, and that this land is not His land! When I heard it, I felt for a moment that I have been beaten up and left for dead. You should try to express your own feelings in your own way.
We as pastors cannot let this go by, treat everything as usual, hide our heads in the sand, and leave our people dangling in the winds of persecution that have begun to blow in America as never before in history. We must help them to understand what is happening, and that our redemption is drawing nigh!
I never thought, imagined or dreamed as a young lad that I would live to see the day when an American president as a part of his international diplomacy with Muslim nations officially disassociated America and himself from Christianity. An act of defiance in which Barach Hussein Obama was saying not only that America is not a Christian nation, but that:
“CHRIST, YOU ARE OFFICIALLY NO LONGER THE
GOD OF AMERICA.”
Obama was not talking about the decline of the Christian Church’s effectiveness, nor the decline in numbers of those who name the name of Jesus in America. It is true that the percentage of Americans who call themselves Christian has declined from 86% in 1986 to less than 76% in 2008. It is true that America is becoming less of a Christian nation, particularly when the anti-God, vocal minority has been allowed by the conservative right to gain the upper hand in anti-God legislation. But Obama was not talking about that, though I am sure he secretly rejoices over it.

DEFYING AND MOCKING CHRISTIAN SYMBOLISM
What Obama was stating was the official anti-Christian and anti-Christ position of his administration for this nation. Were these astonishing instances merely verbal slips that are uncharacteristically Obama? I am afraid not. I could not make up scenarios like this, for they are too raw and shocking. What I could never think of putting forth as even hypothetical has become reality. We are not tripping over our imaginations, though I wish we were.
America’s most recent presidential election was an invitation to tragedy. What appeared in the campaign to millions to be Obama’s honey being poured over their morning breakfast biscuits at Cracker Barrel, has now turned into Cod Liver Oil being poured over their morning Rice Krispies at home.
To add an exclamation mark to his anti-Christian agenda, he just this past week spoke at Georgetown University, and demanded that the IHS symbol in the room in which he was to speak be covered over. The IHS symbol in historic Catholicism stands for and is an abbreviation for Jesus Christ Himself. It is a contraction derived from the Greek “Iesous Christos” – Jesus Christ.
Can you imagine demanding that a Catholic American University be ordered to hide and thereby deny its Christian identity. And not only that but defying the sacred symbol of the Lord himself. This guy is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and his crusade against Christ and against Christians in America has only just begun. While Judaism was condemned by Hitler in Europe, we now have a president who is crusading against Christianity in America and around the world.
I am reminded of another defiant king and his mocking of another sacred Christian symbol. His name was Belshazzar, son of Nebuchadnezzar, the King of ancient Babylon. He too defied God to His face in his own way. Belshazzar threw a big party for his fellow idol-worshiping citizenry. Booze began to flow as trained peacocks pulled in containers of wine – a floating bar.
Belshazzar was the playboy king of his day, a real partier. In his defiance of God and in a drunken stupor, he called for the sacred goblets of Almighty God Jehovah which had been stolen from the temple in Jerusalem and taken into captivity and placed in the tower of the heathen idol god Bel.
All eyes were fixed on Belshazzar as he poured wine into the sacred vessels and defied the Almighty God, even as all eyes and ears were fixed on Barach Hussein Obama as he defied and defiled the sacred symbol the Lord of all the nations at Georgetown University. Then Belshazzar calls for the Passover Cup which signifies the delivering and saving blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. And as he lifts the sacred Passover Cup now full of wine to his lips, there are suddenly screams throughout the banquet hall replacing all of the cheering and laughing.
I would suggest that Barach Obama pay close attention to what happened next. Obama declared Christ and Christianity finished as the official God and religion of America, and banned the sacred symbol of Christ an a major Catholic University. The next thing Belshazzar and his fellow winebibbers and gluttons saw was the finger of a man’s hand writing words of judgment all over the wall. We read in Daniel 5:25 what were the exact words that were being text messaged from Heaven:
“NOW THIS IS THE INSCRIPTION THAT WAS BEING
WRITTEN OUT: ‘MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.’
MENE meaning “GOD HAS NUMBERED YOUR
KINGDOM AND FINISHED IT.”
‘TEKEL meaning “YOU HAVE BEEN WEIGHED ON
THE SCALES AND FOUND DEFICIENT.”
“UPHARSIN meaning, “YOUR KINGDOM HAS BEEN
DIVIDED AND GIVEN OVER TO THE
MEDES AND PERSIANS.”
That very night God, not wasting time when He is on the trail and has the strong scent of the defiant, sent the Medes and the Persians pouring into Babylon, killed King Belshazzar and divided the empire. King Belshazzar was the last king of an empire, now defeated, to defy the Lord God.
President Obama, I would compel you to repent of your anti-Christ spirit, words and actions. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and declare Jesus Christ to be the God of Heaven and earth and the God of America according to her coinage and her Pledge of Allegiance. Or you may well be the first and soon the last God-defying president of what was once the United States of America. God may at any moment Mene-Tekel-Upharsin you to your face.

A TRAGICALLY MISSED OPPORTUNITY
The number of Christians in Turkey is a tiny minority, thought to be less than 1% of its 70 million people. The persecution of Christians by Turkish Muslims is a constant threat, and often carried out without government reprisal. Stories like the following are not uncommon, but the U.S. Media says little. In 2007 five young Turks entered a Christian publishing office in the province of Malatya and slit the throats of the three Protestant Christians there. It just so happened that two of the victims were Turkish Christian converts from Islam – Necati Aydin, 36, and Ugar Yuksel, 32. The third martyred Christian, Tilmann Geske, 46, was a German citizen.
In this case, the Turkish Press reported that four of the five young men were arrested for the murders, all 19 to 20 years of age. They admitted during the interrogation that what drove them to murder the Christians were “nationalist and religious feelings.”
An unnamed Christian missionary in Turkey served there for ten years. When he was asked how many had come to Christ in those 10 years through his ministry, he would reply each time, “Oh, every missionary in my area in Turkey will tell you the same – 200, that’s right, 200.” The missionary went on to say, “Now I have never been rousted out and quizzed all night and kept in jail. But I’ve had Christian guests who have come to my home – rousted out at 3 AM and taken to jail for two and three days of intimidating and questioning.”
How many of you would like to spend 10 years in a country where only 200 believe you and all the other missionaries there in your area – in 10 years. Don’t you think that the tiny group of Christians in Turkey greatly needed from Barach Obama greetings from himself and the millions of Christians in America who send their love in Christ to them and to all of the Turkish people?
Instead Obama disassociated himself from our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ by declaring that America as a nation is no longer one with them or one of them. Instead, he declared himself as one with Islam which is the birthing ground of radical jihadist-terrorists who are determined to destroy America and Israel.
Since Obama puked his anti-Americanisms and anti-Christianisms all over Europe, and via television and the internet all over the world, I strangely but powerfully feel closer to and have grown in love and prayers for Christ’s persecuted followers and my brothers and sisters in Turkey and everywhere across this globe. For I now have been told that I live in a non-Christian nation by the President. of the United States who wants all Christian symbolism hid from his presence. I suddenly feel much closer to my Christian brothers and sisters in Turkey, and far more intimately one with them than with Barach Hussein Obama. We with them as never before must stand for Jesus Christ and His Word, even if it means losing our jobs if not our very lives. That day has now come to Christians in America!
