Bad Will Not Win Over Good Pt. 3
I can hear the chatter once the name got out into the public 🙋🙍🙅🙆🙎🙇👨👧👴👵! Did you hear what they named him? They named him JESUS! They think that He is some sort of YESHUA, JOSHUA, SAVIOR! Can you imagine that! Some people think their kids are greater than most kids!
Yes He is, Heaven’s appointed SAVIOR OF THE WORLD! That is what His name means – SAVIOR! In the Hebrew it is Yeshua!
It is the name that the Father in Heaven reserved for His incarnate Son❕🔴 There is no ❎ other name whereby we can and must be saved❗❗❗ In Heaven or in earth, there is no name that even comes close – JESUS❗❗❗❗❗
Never has anything so small 👶 been responsible for so much 🌐! Never have such tiny shoulders carried so much weight! Never has a little heart pumped so much blood 🔴 for dying humanity! Never has a tiny baby 🚼 been born for so great a destiny!
STORY
A grandfather was passing by his granddaughter’s room, when he saw her praying on her knees! He was struck that she was praying the alphabet. Dear God abcdefgh all the way to z. He later asked her why she prayed the alphabet. She said that she didn’t know what to pray, so she prayed the alphabet hoping God would put the words together.
God has! He has selected 4 letters that say it all – J E S U S – JESUS❗❗❗❗ Name above all names! There is something about that name! What a friend we have in Jesus! Jesus is the sweetest name I know! Jesus loves me this I know! Yes, 4 letters say it all ➕➕➕➕➕➕➕➕➕➕! JESUS!

CIRCUMCISION AND THE NAME
The name JESUS was announced by Joseph and Mary over the child at His CIRCUMCISION 🔴. (Luke 2:21) It was kept under wraps until then. Or should we say it was kept under swaddling clothes until then!
But now He is JESUS! In the Bible a name is who the person is! Not so when he is called for supper he will come! No! Rather, the name defines the person’s 🚹 essence! Her name is essentially who she 🚺 is❗❗❗❗
It was a secret between Gabriel and Joseph and Mary 👥 throughout Mary’s pregnancy, and the first 8 post – partem days. About 287 days of non-disclosure. We know it before the circumcision because we have the Bible’s 📘 account of Gabriel and Joseph and Mary.
I wonder how many times they were asked, “Have you come up with a name if it’s a boy 👨 or a girl 👩?” The time wasn’t right! It was all carried out according to Divine specificity! It could not be attached to Him alone, but to a bloody circumcised 🔴 Him! Then and then alone IS THE NAME WHO HE IS!
At that very moment at His Circumcision 🔴, His name was finally and climactically disclosed in an ages-long awaited MESSIANIC NAME PROCLAMATION CEREMONY 🔴! One could hear 👂the millenniums sigh in breathless relief! The long wait was over!
His name JESUS was declared bathed in blood🔴. Blood is stronger than indelible ink on a birth or baptism or marriage certificate. It is his BLOOD 🔴 COVENANT NAME! That blood and name declare that Jesus will be and do what His name means – SAVIOR!
HEAR it:
“THE NAME BINDS HIM TO THE BLOOD 🔴, AND THE BLOOD 🔴 BINDS HIM TO THE NAME!”
From the very beginning, His name is bathed in blood 🔴! The blood sacrifice of martyred ABEL spoke that name – JESUS! When God 🔵 provided the thicket trapped ram in place of Isaac, that ram trumpeted that name – JESUS. The blood 🔴 of every PASSOVER LAMB 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑 BLEATED THAT NAME – JESUS! 4000 years of sacrificed animal blood 🔴 soaked that name – JESUS!
We name our children after relatives 👪. Or we give them names that are currently popular and in vogue. Or we give them names that are unique and unusual and original! The names that kids get stuck with these days! Forrest Gump illustrates the point!
JESUS, Whose name means SAVIOR, would have His blood 🔴 shed, poured out, and die for the sins of the world 🌎! It is all here! Never had a circumcision and a name declaration meant so much!
To be able to divert 🚧 a river from its most violent course is no easy task! This blood 🔴 river has been flowing from the beginning of time from the blood of millions of lambs 🐑 and bulls 🐮 and goats🐏! Torrents of blood! It shall culminate in the 🚼 Babe of Bethlehem. His name is JESUS! His BLOOD 🔴 is the world’s final and only hope!

THE LAST ADAM
There He is in Like 2:21 with His little penis all bloodied and bruised and painful. His name JESUS is spoken over Him, a prophecy in itself of unspeakable pain 🌀 and blood 🔴 to come!
SUCH was His Jewish legacy to be sure! If He didn’t bleed here, He would be cut off from God 🔵. But it is much more than that! He would be of no good 🆖 to God or to the 🌎 world.
No, He shall not extend the Jewish 🔯 people biologically! He shall begin a whole new 🆕 race spiritually 💠! He as it were will start the world 🌎 all over again! A whole new race of redeemed humanity that would include Jew 🔯 and Gentile 🚻.The little babe is a bloody restart for the world!
We read in I Corinthians 15:45,
“THE FIRST ADAM 👤 BECAME A LIVING BEING, THE LAST ADAM 🚼BECAME A LIFE GIVING SPIRIT.”
HEAR it:
“HE WOULD BE THE LAST OF THE OLD, AND THE BEGINNING OF THE NEW!”
Remember the FIRST ADAM 👤? How could we forget? The last time we saw 👀 him he was STUMBLING and staggering LIKE A DRUNK 😏 OUT OF PARADISE! What a tragic and miserable sight! There is no more pathetic picture in all of human history!
The FIRST ADAM was a living being, but then he became dead in sin! He then became a LIFE TAKER 💀. ALL MEN DIE IN ADAM! (I Corinthians 25:22) He became a LIFE killer spiritually 🌚, physically 🌚, temporally🌚, and eternally 🌚! How would you like that in your resume 📔?
It all happened so fast! The day you eat of the tree, you shall die! (Genesis 2:17) Man can throw away his soul ⬇ so quickly and easily, though at first he can scarce think of himself any worse ☑ for the wear or poorer 📧 for the loss!
The reason that man 🚹 now can so easily walk away 🏃from God is the underwhelming opinion he has of sin! As a matter of fact, sin not only has shrunk in its size in these last days, it has lost all guilt. We are now living in the day in which good 👍 is called evil 👇 and evil 👇 is called good 👍!
The young virgin👩 mother MARY would birth a son JESUS 👦Who would begin a new race of people, who are JOYFULLY WILLING TO BE CALLED BAD FOR THE SAKE OF GOOD, AND TO BE CALLED DEPLORABLE FOR THE SAKE OF THE LAUDABLE!
This JESUS 🔵 is a LIFE GIVER. ETERNAL LIFE! ABUNDANT LIFE! HOLY LIFE! RIGHTEOUS LIFE! SPIRITUAL LIFE! A LIFE GIVING SPIRIT 👥!
And because of this JESUS:
-GOOD 🔵 WINS OVER BAD 🌚!
-LOVE 💓 WINS OVER HATE💔I
-LIFE 💙 WINS OVER DEATH💀!
-RIGHTEOUSNESS 👍WINS OVER SIN 👎!
-HEAVEN 🔵 WINS OVER HELL🌚!

It all happened in this way:
Mary 👩 said to Gabriel 👼 what Eve 🙋 failed to say to Satan 🐍. In Luke 1:37, Mary said to the angel,
“I AM THE LORD’S SERVANT. BE IT DONE UNTO ME ACCORDING TO GOD’S WORD!”
Jesus 👦 said to His parents 👪 what Adam failed to say to His wife 👥. Jesus said in Luke 2:49,
“WHY ARE YOU LOOKING FOR ME, DON’T YOU KNOW THAT I MUST BE ABOUT MY FATHER’S BUSINESS?”
You might say that Jesus was the end – the last of the first Adam, and the final Adam 👴 of God’s saving grace. If this does not work, there will never be another Adam! IT IS JESUS OR NOTHING! This is THE LAST ADAM 👵!

THE PRE-CONCEPTION NAME
We read in Luke 2:21,
“…THEY CALLED HIM JESUS, THE NAME THE ANGEL GAVE HIM BEFORE HE WAS CONCEIVED.”
His name came from Heaven! It originated with God 🔵 the Father. The Heavenly Father named His incarnate Son! The Angel Gabriel conveyed it!
Our God 🔵 Who so loved the world 🌎, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life – HE NAMED HIS GOD-MAN BABY – JESUS!
THE WHOLE WORLD 🌎 NEEDS SAVING! The world 🌎 NEEDS A SAVIOR more than ever and more than anything!
The world 🌎 does not need an anthropologist! The world 🌎 does not need a sociologist! The world 🌎 does not need an economist! The world 🌎 does not need a agronomist! The world 🌎does not need a climatologist! The world 🌎 does not need a naturalist! The world 🌎 does not need a secularist! The world 🌎 does not need a politician! (GOD forbid!)
The world 🌎 NEEDS A SAVIOR more than anything or anyone!
You will now find Him circumcised 🔴 and named in a Bethlehem barn ⛺ bunk, in case you were wondering where to look!

WHAT IF JESUS WAS A JADON!
Suppose the angel 👼 had said to Joseph and Mary,
“YOU SHALL CALL HIS NAME JADON, FOR HE SHALL JUDGE 🔨HIS PEOPLE FOR THEIR SINS.”
Jadon by the way was a Gate Repairer on the Jeremiah Gate 🛄 in Jerusalem, and his name can be found in Nehemiah 3:7. It is irrelevant here who He was! His name is for illustration purposes only!
JADON’S name means JUDGE! Not JESUS THE SAVIOR 🌕 BUT JADON THE JUDGE 🌚!
Think about it! What if God sent a JUDGE ❌ and not a SAVIOR 🔵! What if He brought JUDGMENT AND NOT SALVATION THROUGH Mary? What if He gave us a JADON 🌚 and not a JESUS 🌕!
Far fetched❓ Not at all❕ He already did it once before!
Recall the time when Adam and Eve 🚻 limped out of the Garden of Eden crippled for life. Who could ever forget❔ There they go DEPRAVED 🌚 IN THEIR NATURES, CURSED ❎ IN THEIR ACTIONS, and sin’s misery and rot sunk deep into their descendants. Abel is now dead 💀, and Cain is on death row 🏬 for 1st degree murder 💀!
Then we read of the rot and ruin of the entire species of humanity 👥. All of man’s thoughts and imaginations were evil all day every day! (Read Genesis 6)
Humanity became a flowing sewer to Hell! One that Jesus FOR OUR REDEMPTION would have to crawl through.
Like ANDY IN SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION! Andy’s sewer pipe to freedom was 5 football fields long! Jesus’ sewer pipe was eternally long. Andy’s sewage was the physical rotting human waste 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩 of one prison in Maine! Jesus’ sewage was the spiritual rotting human waste 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩of the entire world of humanity of all ages!
Remember:
“IT WAS THE FALL AND FILTH OF MAN 💩 NOT ONLY, BUT OF ALL OF MANKIND 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩!”
And then we read something that is mind numbing and heart stopping! We see and hear God 🔵 so vexed within Himself, that He as it were was beginning to have second thoughts about His creation and creatures, above all man!
Genesis 6:6 says,
“THE LORD WAS GRIEVED THAT HE HAD MADE MAN 🚹 UPON THE EARTH!”
WOE! YIKES! Mind you, the crown 👑 of His creation has become the curse of His creation! Grieved means that God 🔵 is DEEPLY AND PAINFULLY SORROWFUL THAT HE MADE MAN! What HE HAD PRONOUNCED AS VERY GOOD 👍 in the beginning HAS NOW BECOME VERY BAD 👎!
As a matter of fact, we read in Genesis 6:6,
“THAT GOD’S 🔵 HEART 💔 WAS FILLED WITH PAIN.”
Sounds like God 🔵 is having a heart attack. His children had turned against Him, and they joined themselves to Satan the Serpent 🐍 instead. God’s heart was broken, His love had been scorned, and He literally had severe heart pain 💔! To get the real picture, I SEE GOD WEEPING AND DOUBLED OVER IN PAIN!
Then in Genesis 6:7, He says,
“I AM GRIEVED THAT I HAVE MADE MAN AND ALL CREATURES, AND I AM GOING TO WIPE THEM FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH!”
The contagion of sin had spread to the entire creation 👥🐦🐂🐭🐗🐘🐊🐻, and the next thing we see is water volcanically erupting from below, and thunderously cascading from above for 40 days and 40 nights, covering the earth 🌎 with oceans of water for 150 days. IT WAS THE ORIGINAL WATERWORLD!
Only Noah and his family were saved on the ark that Noah had built alone for 120 years! Along with 2 of every species of animal 🐂 and bird 🐦!
But that wasn’t all Noah did for 100 years and 2 decades! While he built the “Ark of the Open Door,” he preached righteousness to the sin ravaged world for over a century! He was the Billy Graham of his generation. He called men away from sin 🌚and back to God 🔵.

GOD IS SLOW 🐌 TO ANGER
Why did it take so long ⏳ for Noah to build the Ark? Was it because of his stupidity and or the fact that he preached too much!
No! No! No! I believe it was the longsuffering mercy of God 🔵 Who stretched out the entire process! I think that He slowly guided Noah board by board, angle by angle, and nail by nail! Not because it was SHIP BUILDING 101 FOR AMATEURS!
God is not short tempered, but slow to anger! (Psalm 103:8) If you think that God is a HOT 😤 HEAD, you are not even warm! God is NOT HOT 😠HEADED, BUT WARM 💗 HEARTED!
HEAR IT:
“GOD 🔵 IS FAR BETTER THAN WE ARE AT OUR WORSE!”
HEAR IT AGAIN:
“GOD 🔵IS AT HIS GOODEST WHEN WE ARE AT OUR BADDEST🌚!”(Bad english, strong truth)
HEAR IT AGAIN AND AGAIN:
“GOD’S MERCY ALWAYS TRIUMPHS OVER HIS JUSTICE!”
With God:
“THERE IS TOTAL UNWILLINGNESS TO SEND ANYONE TO HELL. HE WANTS EVERYONE TO GO TO HEAVEN.” ( II Peter 2:9)
God had all but wiped out the human race, except for 8 souls! Judgment 😤 when it came was fast and furious and final.
Judgment comes only when humanity is so bad 🌚, that no good 💙can come out of the bad any longer. It is the point of no return! It is irreversible iniquity! There is a point at which sin is terminal and incurable! Noah’s world 🌎 had reached that sin sickness!
Let’s be real here! To hear God lamenting in Genesis 6, it sounds like He was coming very close to unraveling the entire six day work of His creation, and totally erasing all the work of His own hands!
BUT MERCY WINS OVER JUSTICE! The Ark of the Open Door remains open for 42,800 days of mercy 🔘! That is 1400 months of grace 🔘! And some still call that A RUSH TO JUDGMENT!
NOW, since the BABY JESUS WAS CIRCUMCISED AND NAMED JESUS THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD, GOD HAS GIVEN THE WORLD,
“2020 YEARS – 737,300 DAYS – 24,240 MONTHS TO TURN FROM SIN TO JESUS AS THEIR SAVIOR.”
STORY
A young man asked Jesus how long 1 million years is to God? Jesus responded, “1 second.” Then he asked Jesus how much 1 million dollars is to God? Jesus said, “1 penny.” The young man then asked Jesus for one of God’s pennies. Jesus said, “Sure, do you have a second?”
The baby has grown into the most loving 💓 man 🚹 the world has ever seen! His love was rejected, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. He died for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and is coming again to judge the living and the dead!
It could be any second ⌛ now! No, you and I don’t have one second to waste! Ask JESUS to save you now! The clock ⏰ is ticking! Amen!
