2016 – 2020! Epoch! Iconic! A Quartet of Renewal and Reawakening! A Quartet of Discord and Disdain! Two Quartets in Total Disharmony!

2016 – 2020 A FRESH BEGINNING
A fresh, pure ๐ญ spiritual and moral wind was being breathed by the Holy Spirit ๐ต into America! A new wind โ was beginning to blow! It moved across the land just before and after the election of 2016!
John 3:3 says about the Holy Spirit,
“THE WIND BLOWS ๐จ WHERE IT PLEASES, YOU CAN HEAR THE SOUND, BUT YOU CANNOT TELL WHERE IT COMES FROM, OR WHERE IT IS GOING… ”
That is how the Quartet of Renewal 2016 – 2020 began to sing in the new breeze blowing! You felt that you could breath again without choking to death ๐! It blew across America gust by gust!
The foul, noxious air of MORAL RELATIVISM ๐ and MORAL TOLERANCE ๐ had been lingering and stifling for half a century.
MORAL ABSOLUTISM โโโโ was going, going, gone! The 10 Commandments were no longer allowed in the public square.
Psalm 119:140 states,
“THY WORD IS PURE, THEREFORE THY SERVANT LOVETH IT.”
The purity of God’s ๐ต Word was removed from the classroom! The purity of the Mosaic Law was banned from public property. Society began to rot and stink in an anything goes mentality.
Now, what is wrong for you may be right for me. It was deceptively called THE NEW MORALITY!
Morally Polluted air coming from an immoral sewer, like the smell of a landfill on a hot sultry day! America has been stinking up ๐ the earth!
MORAL RELATIVISM, to use a crass analogy, leaves it up to you whether to flush the toilet ๐ฝ or not. Or whether to use the toilet at all, or just defecate ๐ฉ where you want to! Your choice! Gross but analogous!
The once MORAL MAJORITY was being resurrected to clean up the smell that is nauseous ๐ to God ๐ต. A fresh wind from HEAVEN began to blow.
The call to ONE NATION UNDER GOD๐ต WAS BECOMING LOUDER AND LOUDER ๐๐๐ in the President Trump regime. The hunger and thirst for righteousness growled in the innards of millions of Americans. LGBTQ was being challenged as the grossest perversion of God’s created order! Abortion was being brought one step closer to first degree murder!

2016 – 2020 THE QUARTET OF RESISTANCE AND RAGE
Then resistance and rebellion became irate. The far left went mad! Looney! The President Elect was being targeted for impeachment even before he was sworn into office. The President’s wife ๐ฉ and son ๐จwere vilified on daily television shows like THE TALK!. No holds barred!
The conscienceless LEFT WINGERS exemplified the words of Psalm 12:4,
“OUR TONGUES ARE OUR OWN, WHO IS LORD OVER US?”
They shall all experience the words of Matthew 12:37,
“BY YOUR WORDS YOU SHALL BE JUSTIFIED, AND BY YOUR WORDS YOU SHALL BE CONDEMNED.”
The Speaker of the House of Representatives TORE INTO SHREDS the President’s State of the Union Address on world ๐wide television. She ripped it up with her hateful ๐ hands. An act of treason applauded by the Democrats.
The powers of darkness ๐ became enraged ๐ฅ. A nation becomes two nations like two armies drawn out to fight! Police ๐ฎ being shot dead in the streets. Rioters in the cities torch and destroy business districts!
What symbols can I use to describe this 21st century quadrant? ๐ ๐ท ๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐๐๐๐บ๐ ๐๐. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. That may be true of symbols as well.
And as I discern 2016 – 2020, they pierce me deep as some of the most MOST PIVOTAL YEARS โฐ in God’s prophetic plan ever. I know that this may sound prophetically inflated! That’s most likely because most people’s prophetic ๐ ฟ awareness is tragically dark and deflated!
Who knows what a day may bring? We really don’t know! That is why tomorrows are so often filled with surprises, joyful ๐ and sad ๐ฐ! God always puts darkness ๐ between us and the next day!
Suddenly history โ in a QUARTET OF DISCORD, DIVISION, AND DISDAIN had taken a vicious and lethal sharp turn ๐. Leaders of faith and morality could not publicly dine without being harassed and threatened! Hollywood fanatics expressed wanting to blow up the White House ๐ข!
Then came COVID 19๐ , the PANDEMIC FROM CHINA ๐. It was being called by many “THE NEW NORMAL.” People around the world began to die by the hundreds, then by the thousands, then by the hundreds of thousands! The Democrats blamed the President for the Corona Virus ๐.
2016 – 2020! Not necessarily the hardest, but in many ways the ๐ข saddest and most shameful 4 years ever. Mixed in with twists of contradictions that leave me trying to sort out a huge puzzle with hundreds of tiny pieces โป that don’t seem to fit anywhere.
I generally enjoy puzzles, but not this one! Just when I think I have it figured out, there are several pieces left over ๐ด๐ต๐ถ๐ท๐ธ๐น๐. Only God can put the puzzle of history together ๐ฐ.
But this is for certain,
“EVERYTHING THAT CAN BE SHAKEN IS BEING SHAKEN, SO THAT WHICH IS OF GOD WILL ALONE REMAIN FOREVER โญ!”

2016 – 2020 THE GOD ๐ต OF HISTORY
Of course God ๐ต is surprised and puzzled by nothing! Grieved? Yes! Angered? Doubtless! Rattled? No!
Nothing catches Him off guard ๐ฉ or confuses Him ๐. Not the CORONAVIRUS โ ! Not the RIOTS IN THE CITIES ๐ฅ! Not the FIRES IN CALIFORNIA๐ฅ! Not the INSANITY OF A POLITICAL PARTY ๐ ! NOT THE CORRUPTION OF THE WORD OF GOD ๐ซ ON LATE NIGHT TELEVISION! Not the WICKED REVERSAL โช OF GOD’S CREATED ORDER!
The truth being that He knows the end โ from the beginning ๐ ฐ. His name is ALPHA and OMEGA.
You will never hear God ๐ต saying,
“MY, MY, I NEVER SAW THAT COMING.”
Everything is already accomplished before Him, PROBLEM AND SOLUTION, MESS AND MASTERPIECE, according to His perfect eternal purpose.
When things seem to us to be going backwards ๐, God is moving forward ๐! When things make no sense ๐, God is making the most sense ๐! When things look the darkest ๐, to God they are the brightest ๐ !
Ephesians 1:11 states:
“HE WORKETH ALL THINGS ACCORDING TO THE PURPOSE OF THE COUNSEL OF HIS WILL.”
God ‘s MIND HOLDS COUNSEL session with GOD’S WILL, and HIS PURPOSE IS DETERMINED, and God ๐ตWORKS ALL THINGS ACCORDINGLY AND PERFECTLY DOWN THROUGH HISTORY โ!
Romans 8:28 says,
“GOD works together for good all things for those who love Him… ”
HE WORKETH! GOD IS WORKING EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME. HE IS A WORKING GOD. Through it all and in it all GOD IS AT WORK TO TURN BAD INTO GOOD FOR GOD LOVERS ๐!
I John 3:8 speaks of,
“THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL.”
God is at work! Satan is at work! God ๐ต can out work the devil any day, and does! God works for GOOD! Satan works for BAD!
I have heard ๐ people, religious people make the comment,
“BOY, YOU SURE CAN TELL THAT SATAN IS AT WORK! ”
Seldom do I hear people say,
“BOY, YOU SURE CAN TELL THAT GOD IS AT WORK!”
IN EVERYTHING? YES! IN ALL THINGS! EVERYTHING! Nothing is left to chance. Nothing is left dangling in the winds of fortune or misfortune. Nothing! No One! Not President Donald Trump! Not President Joe Biden!
Not a hair ใฝ on our head can grow or hair out apart from the COUNSEL of God ๐ต. Not a tweety bird ๐ฆon the wing can fly or fall, apart from the COUNSEL of God ๐ต.
If God ๐ต the Holy Spirit was not at work in everything, the world would long ago have turned into a JUNKYARD OF HELL! Very few would be alive, and the quality of life would be nil!
(DEISTS DON’T BELIEVE THAT GOD IS THE GOD OF HISTORY! THEY BELIEVE THAT GOD CREATED THE WORLD, WOUND IT UP LIKE A CLOCK ๐, WENT OFF ON A SABBATICAL, AND LEFT THE WORLD TO RUN ITSELF OUT WITH ABSOLUTELY NO DIVINE INVOLVEMENT.)
THEISTS believe the following modern affirmation, as the saying goes today:
“GOD HAS YOUR BACK!” (AND YOUR FRONT, AND YOUR RIGHT SIDE , AND YOUR LEFT SIDE, AND YOUR TOP, AND YOUR BOTTOM.)

2016 – 2020 THE U. S. A. ELECTIONS
America had been descending ๐ into deepening darkness ๐ for decades! Ever since the ACLU had driven God, the Bible, and prayer from the schools and the public square, America has been in a moral and spiritual free fall! The secular humanists that saturate our government love and applaud ๐ it!
But under the leadership of the 2016 newly elected President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, the MOON ๐ AND THE STARS โจ began to shine brighter. Those are the lights that are consistent with the state of darkness that had gripped America.
The SUN ๐ was just beginning to rise. Day had not fully dawned on America for many moons๐๐๐๐. She had been falling deeper and deeper into the sleep ๐ค of sin and death.
God ๐ต was being welcomed back into American life! She was returning to being ONE NATION UNDER GOD ๐ต. The President ๐ฉ is a man of faith in the making. The President’s wife Melania leads the nation in The Lord’s Prayer ๐ . The Vice President and his wife are born again Christians ๐. Men and women of FAITH ๐จ๐ฉ are being appointed to the SUPREME COURT!
Satan began to have seizures! Hell burned hotter in rage. Satan the serpent ๐, blinded by fury, like an ADDER BEGAN TO SPIT POISON ON THE PRESIDENT’S NOMINEES to the SCOA. His demoncrats tried to portray Justice Brett Kavanaugh as a sexual predator ๐ and a drunkard ๐ป. They did the same to Justice Clarence Thomas. The Judiciary Committee of the United States Senate became a cesspool of verbal pornographic debauchery.
American history โ had never sunk to deeper depths. It was ONE OF the darkest days since the sun was withdrawn from our Suffering Savior! History was written in the blackest ink ๐ with the bitterest gall โ in a divided Senate and nation! It was worse than appalling!
I am reminded of the words of Judges 19:30, in a different shocking context and story, but totally applicable,
“AND IT WAS SO THAT ALL THAT SAW ๐ IT SAID THERE WAS NO SUCH THING DONE OR SEEN FROM THE DAY THAT THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL CAME UP FROM THE LAND OF EGYPT UNTO THIS DAY…”

Still the SUN CONTINUED TO RISE HIGHER ๐. The President referenced God ๐ต in every speech! He boldly battled for the lives of the unborn ๐ถ! Roe vs Wade’s murderous onslaught was being threatened! He endorsed heterosexual marriage ๐ฅ at every opportunity! He valiantly protected the American people ๐ช from illegal aliens, terrorists, and drug dealers by building a WALL on our southern border. The Homeland ๐จ was his first and most sacred charge! He stood strong for the freedom of religion โช!
It was the DAWNING OF A NEW DAY ๐ IN AMERICAN HISTORY โ. The darkness was retreating. The Quartet of Renewal and Reawakening sang as Heaven’s wind blew!

But now comes the COSMIC ๐ CATASTROPHE OF 2016-2020! The entire spiritual and moral foundation and superstructure of the nation and the world ๐ was seriously wrenched ๐ง out of shape! I could hear ๐the spinal column of America crack in painful misalignment!
I am gripped by a prophetic ๐ ฟ event recorded inconspicuously but very importantly in the Book of Genesis!
You must read the story for yourself in Genesis 38:35-39.
Abbreviating the sordid story to the core meaning, Tamar ๐ was pregnant with twins from having sex with her father-in-law Judah. They would abort both of them today, and no one would be the wiser!
As she was giving birth, one of the twins ๐ถ put his arm and hand out of her vagina. He was the first twin to make his move to being birthed.
The midwife then did something redemptive. She tied a SCARLET THREAD ๐ด on his wrist as the firstborn, the chief inheritor, and next in the line of family authority. His name was Terah. The birth seemed to be going well.
Scarlet ๐ด in the Bible stands for the blood ๐ด and the believers in the blood sacrifice ๐ดof Jesus Christ for the sins of the world.
Whether it is the SCARLET BLOOD ๐ดPAINTED DOORPOSTS IN EGYPT, OR RAHAB’S SCARLET ๐ด CHORD IN JERICHO, OR TERAH’S SCARLET ๐ดTHREADED WRIST. The line of salvation is the SCARLET ๐ด LINE OF CHRIST’S BLOOD ๐ด that holds the entire Bible together!
But as soon TERAH extended his arm and was SCARLETTED ๐ดon his way into the world, something dramatic happened in the birth process! It sounds and looks like a SMACK DOWN in the womb! Something violent took place in Tamar’s birth canal.
Hear it:
“WHEREVER THE SCARLET OF ๐ด CHRIST IS CENTRAL, THERE IS ALWAYS VIOLENT OPPOSITION.”
Satan hates the BLOOD OF JESUS! IT SAVES PEOPLE FROM SATAN’S HELL!
The midwife said that the second twin suddenly “BROKE OUT FIRST.” That is a STRANGE EXPRESSION FOR A BIRTH – BROKE OUT. Hard labor maybe! Breech perhaps! Umbilical cord around the neck God forbid! Those are all customary expressions for a difficult delivery.
But not BREAK OUT! When you BREAK OUT OF PRISON, you do damage to something or someone!
When you BRAKE OUT OF THE WOMB, THAT MEANS YOU BROKE SOMETHING ON THE WAY OUT. Nothing less!
I believe he broke the arm of the scarletted ๐ด first twin in his forced way to being the first born.
The forceful twin was named Perez. Sounds like a catcher for the New York Mets. Perez’s name means BREACH – BURST FORTH. He did violence to the SCARLETTED ๐ด TERAH!

2016 – 2020 PERSONAL – NATIONAL – GLOBAL FUNERAL PROCESSIONS
For my dear wife and I, 2016 – 2020 has been the most trying and saddest years of our 60 years of loving, wonderful marriage.
We experienced the excruciating deaths of both of our precious daughters, Mary Jane ๐ and Jackie Dawn๐. They both in their 50s fell prey to the BRACA-1 Gene and stage four OVARIAN CANCER. The chemo was worse than the cancer.
Their goneness is painful and sad ๐ข beyond words. I still touch their cell phone numbers thinking they will answer. They never do.
Who wouldn’t wonder why? Leaving their husbands and teenage children – our sons-in-law and grandchildren.
The Bible says in Psalm 119:140 that,
“GOD HEALS THE BROKEN HEARTED ๐, and BINDS UP ALL THEIR WOUNDS.”
It must be a process, for the brokenness does not heal quickly or easily. Our great consolation is that we shall reunite in the mansions of Heaven ๐ never to part again.
Meanwhile, it is not by any means easy:
“GRIEVING NOW IS MUCH MORE PAINFUL THAN REJOICING IS PLEASANT!”
TRUE:
“IT IS HARDER TO PRAISE GOD ๐ต WITH A GRAPEFRUIT SIZE LUMP IN YOUR THROAT ๐ฐ, THAN IT IS TO PRAISE HIM WITH ABOUNDING JOY IN YOUR HEART ๐!”

As if all of that wasn’t painful ๐ฉ enough, we with you have witnessed the deaths of over 400,000 Americans falling victim ๐ to the deadly Corona ๐ Virus.
Suddenly our WAY OF LIFE BECAME A WAY OF DEATH! No one was prepared! How could you be ๐ฒ? IT HIT THE WORLD ๐ LIKE A GLOBAL TSUNAMI!
Our oldest son fell very ill to the Covid in January of 2020, but God ๐ต spared his life. He felt like his lungs were being shredded by knives. He told me that he had never felt so sick and close to death! Thank you Lord beyond words for healing our son ๐ค. I grieve with the thousands whose loved ones were not healed.
It is still happening ๐ท, with the effectiveness of recent vaccines ๐still to be proven in the long run!
Let alone the millions that have been infected around the world ๐, leaving hundreds of more thousands dead. Unlike anything we have ever experienced!
For us and the world ๐,
“IT HAS BEEN AND IS THE TIME OF SORROWS.”
When God ๐ต shakes His sword of judgment over a nation, and the citizens take no notice of it! When God ๐ต shakes His sword of judgment over the world, and the people do not cry for mercy in prayer and repentance! These are the saddest symptoms of a decaying nation and a perishing world.
If we can deafen our ears to God’s ๐ต voice in time of judgment, and return to our sleep and ease, that is a state of highest contempt of and disobedience to God.
The Prophet Jeremiah cried out in Lamentations 3:48,
“MY EYE RUNNETH DOWN WITH RIVERS OF TEARS, FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF THE DAUGHTER OF MY PEOPLE.”
RIVERS?! AMEN!
